Site Recomendation Cheddar Area

Hi,

we are looking for a nice site to stay for a few nights in mid August around the Cheddar area. Does anyone know of any good CL's with hook ups or quiet larger sites.

Many Thanks

Paul

look on page 421 of the C C book on the top right hand side ,you will see a site under the name of Mrs W J Curtis

Clinton House Sharpen Lane ,nice large pitches with hardstanding with grass growing through ,pipes are supplied to vent your waste water into the surrounding hedges ,10 mins to town centre ,right next Cheddar Resevoir ,electric hook ups

Last June, we stayed at Cheddar Bridge Caravan Park, and can't recommend it highly enough - it really was an immaculate site, right on the southern edge of Cheddar itself. Very friendly owners, only around 40-50 pitches, and if it's something that appeals (it did to us), adults only.

I'm pretty sure there was a CL right opposite the entrance too.

Hi

We stayed at a CL called Uplands Cottages a couple of weeks ago. It is only a few miles from Cheddar. We liked the site, though the caravan field is a bit of a walk from the toilet block. The owner was very friendly and helpful. There is an outdoor pool, but we didn't get to use it - might be open during school hols if we ever get any decent weather?!

Paul, I can recommend Bucklegrove at Rodney Stoke which is on the Wells side of Chedder. A good family run site commercial with a small c. Ray
