site with entertainment

Hi looking for recommendations for the summer - late July early Aug - anywhere down south. Usually travel to south Devon/Dorset but open to suggestions this year. Family of 4 + dog coming from west of Scotland. Looking for not too big a site (ie Haven!) but with some decent nightly entertainment - kids aged 15 and 11.

Why not go somewhere like Minehead CC site which is nice. Butlitz isn't far away from the site. I understand you can buy a pass. There's also the West Somerset Railway.

Cheaper option is take a mouth organ or comb/silver paper and provide your own entertainment ;O)

ashley, have you ever been to the Hillhead caravan club site?.

i go every year and we love this site and the area.

We are off to Hillhead this year - we are really looking forward to it. The only downside appears to be that the area is not as suitable for cycling as Norfolk!

We did Seacroft (another CC site with entertainment) last year (and the year before) so it will be a useful comparison.
