Anyone know of a site of high standard with children swimming pool and course fishing onsite or very close by for 2 weeks summer holiday in or around the Devon / Torquay area in August. Would like a fully serviced pitch if possible but not essential, any feedback would be appreciated.
 
hi have a look at www.byslades.co.uk great famliy site course fishing is across the road the site as good toilet and showers a nice play park and plenty of room for ball games on a large playing field but not near the caravans as a good cafe on site as good cctv cameras around the site and a security barrier on and of the site

give the site owner a ring about the fishing they are very helpfull
 
Try Widend Caravan site at Paignton, thereis a good swimming pool, children games room and park area and small club house with limited entertainment - mainly for children. The site is family run with excellent shower/toilet facilities and very good value. The brochure does not do the site justice. For fishing Torquay and Paignton are a few minutes drive away. There is also Brixham and Dartmouth close at hand. Not sure regarding fresh water fishing - rivers, lakes, etc. All told I think that you will enjoy the site and your holiday. Good luck.
