We like the CMHC site just a short drive away, but it has no facilities and that suited us.

Yes! I spent ten days at Bourton on the Water during August of 2020. Thoroughly enjoyed it. However, there's no toilet block on site so you need to be prepared to use your own facilities. The site is situated on a disused train station. See my blog HERE

I know it’s not at Bourton but you can’t beat Moreton in Marsh CAMHC site for it’s location although it was looking tired when we last visited in 2018.

Convenient too for nice pubs and eateries within walking distance.

We got the same impression when we visited in about 2020. It definitely needed a revamp especially at the prices they charge.

There was a refurbishment in 2021. If you look at CMHC website there’s a long section detailing the Clubs quite extensive refurbishment programme across many sites. That must be where your money is going😂

The approach road into the Cirencester site isn’t great but fortunately we managed to “run the gauntlet” with a twin axle without meeting anyone coming the other way.

TV at Cirencester is not good, but fortunately they have a distribution system.

Past experience suggests the road on the bank behind the toilet block is one of the better drained parts of the site albeit some of the HS pitches are a bit narrow.
Waitrose about10-15mins walk, or 5 mins by car. Have nice eatery.
