Hi Erica

Stayed at burnham-on-sea CC site for a stopover this summer, not far from weston super mare,it was a lovely site, very family orientated(you didnt say if you had children)not far to the sea front and fairground, short ride to weston-s-mare, the site is large but good sized pitches, definately recommend it .

We spent a week at Burnham on Sea earlier this year. A lovely site and, as Tina says, not far from Weston. If you have children they will love all the fun fairs nearby, excellent when wet! However, it does tend to be a very windy site and I have never known the wind change directions so quickly!

Unfortunately, it is not dog friendly. The dog walk is off site along a winding road which is derestricted!!! The locals of all ages take great delight in tearing along at break neck speeds whilst pet owners (along with their pets) can be found jumping headlong into hedgerows! (I know I am leaving myself wide open with this comment!)

Because it was such a long drive and is in rather a more commercialised setting I doubt that I would go there again.

Try Warren Farm. Its the last park up the road and the nearest to the pub. Good access to the beach and some pleasant country side views. A good dog walk across open fields and its quiet. The site is set out as fields allotted to seasonals, tourers, rallies etc. Theres no club, but a shop and a very good car boot once a week. I enjoyed it. brian.f

C & CC site is in a good quite position away from traffic. If you have a pitch at the top of the site it offers a good view and you are close to the shop and toilets. Also adjacent to it is a Private site I think is called Park Farm, it shares the same access road and entrance. Pitches are much bigger here, some with their own water supply and drainage. Toilet block is very clean but a little dated by CC club standards. This site doesn't have the views but is very pleasant and aso shares the C & CC shop. Which ever site of these two you may choose you will need to take your car to get into Weston of any of the surrounding area...... the price you pay for a bit of peace & quiet!.
