Hi David came back Dunkerque on Friday this week, we stayed at Chateau Du Gandspette which is about 15 miles south of the port. Come out of the port follow signs for motorway, when you get to the motorway roundabout go stright across on the D300 follow this road to Eperlecques about 5 roundabouts down. Nice site with swimming pool and you can use Camping cheques.

We came back from Dunkirk on Sunday and stayed the night before in Camping Jeugstadion in Ypres. This was only forty miles away from the port and under an hour's journey. It's not much of a deviation from the route of the A25 motorway from Lille. A very good site and within easy walking distance of the Menin Gate for the last post ceremony every evening. I would definitely use this site again.
