Sites near Whitehaven

We are going visiting family in Whitehaven in October and are looking for sites close by, we have checked the usual places CC, CCC and uksite finder, was wondering if anyone knows of a small site.

When you say you have checked CC and CCC sites do you mean the main sites and/or their respective 5-van sites, as you say you want a small site? Between them they have thousands of these 5-van sites and there are probably ones near Whitehaven.

Hi Woodlands Camper, we have checked both there 5 van sites, was wondering if someone could recommend a site that they have visited.

I've stayed at the CC Club site at Lamplugh, - Dockray Meadow many times. It's about 8 miles away from Whitehaven. It's a lovely site - but no toilet blocks.
