Sites on west coast of Cornwall

Hi,

We're looking to go to Cornwall in August but this time we want to go to a cheap site without the pool, club etc.

I know there are lots of sites down there like this but many don't have a web presence.

Can anybody recommend a site on the west coast of Cornwall like this?

depends where you want to go and what you expect for your money

we went to hayle a place called church town farm they have web site i think its cheap well run clean no pool or club house facilitys are ok soooo close to beach just over the dunes we liked it went for 2 years running will be going back in couple of years(going to explore devon for a change)

hi, the caravan club have a few sites down there if you are a member.there st agnes, hayle and a couple more.hope this helps.

Hi

Try Porth beach tourist park near Newquay its a great site very well run and has the best toilets and shower block of any site we have been on, porth beach has won loads of awards for them.

There is no pool or club but over the road there is a pub that does good food and reasonable beer. Best of all over the road from the site entrance is one of the best beaches in cornwall there is also a small cafe and shop near the park entrance. The site is on the coast road to padstow with fantastic views and you can also walk over the cliffs into newqay (20 mins)

I can recommend the CC site at Hayle, nice and grassy with good access to cliff top walks and beaches near by. Facilities upto usual high CC standards, and the wardens are friendly too. I stopped at Easter and it very quiet, even during the schools Easter break.

CC site at Marazion, Penzance if you don't need shower block facilities. Lovely site and I would definitely use it again.
