Has anyone got an octavia of 54 plate or newer with parking sensors, if so how do the parking sensors affect the towbar , i want to find out if anyone has experienced problem with a witter fixed bar sk12a, do the parking sensors detect the towbar.
 
Hello Andrew ,We have the Elegance and on Forum i have posted several things regarding sensors. Ours has a Witter fixed ball and with the cover on drove us crazy every time we reversed, put up with it for a year and whilst near the Witter installer asked him what can be done . H e went round the back and took the cover off and it solved the problem.Now looking for something to cover the ball as tried a latex glove part and it sounded again .Hope this helps.
 
Hi Andrew.

I used to have an Octavia Elegance estate that had reversing sensors and subsequently had a Bosal swan neck towbar fitted. It didn't have any adverse effect on the sensors.
