The two part sliding door into the bedroom on our Lunar Lexon 640 EW (2004) has one half missing and I would dearly love to repair it. Does any one know where I could get a replacement without going to Lunar. They quoted about £400 !! and said the panels would have to come from Italy. So I am looking for a sensible replacement, maybee a concertina type door, any sugestions please

You have a choice. You either get the correct panels, at the high cost, and can then sell the van at a future date in a better position. Or, if you are never going to sell the van then you can look at alternatives.

Possibly a Tambourine door could be an answer.

Personally, I think I would bite the bullet and get the correct panels. I could then relax knowing my van was in manufacturer;'s spec condition, and suitable for resale without any argument. Plus, if you wait too long then even Lunar's panels may not be available, then life is more complicated.

Check this out http://www.caravantalk.org.uk/index.php?showtopic=13916 they took out there sliding door on there lunar and replaced it..

Maybe they still have the door in the garage !!!
