We have a small round Cookware one on board. Very slow and gentle .Cooks brilliantly over a whole day.
Our larger old Morphy Richards was also excellent.
The latest one from Andrew James is fine but is far too hot and fast even on its low setting.
What slow cookers do you guys reccomend?

Mine, from my long ago batchelor days is a Tefal and you can take out the ceramic pot and use the outer as a small deep fat frier or electric saucepan. In slow cooker mode it can cook very slowly eg a prebrowned pigeon in hebs and red wine would be good about 10 hours later.

A cheap one off QVC worked well for us for years. Downside was we left it on when we were out and on returning saw smoke from where we had left the caravan. No problem though it was a barbeque at the caravan behind us,

My good lady, has just bought a combined, pressure cooker and slow cooker all in on, its electric and has a max of 1000 watts. (4 amp). Timer auto goes to warm when finished, and has a delayed start if needed. We shall see how it works next week in Hertford.
Next thing she won'let me BBQ.
