Does anyone know where I can buy a small calor gas heater from that my bottle from the van can fit into?

You can get industrial ones from screwfix - definitely not suitable for confined spaces.

I bought a gas heater that is similar to the single burner gas stoves and uses the plug in canisters - it was cheap, easy to use and the canisters cost about
 
You could invest in an electric Halogen heater for the awnin. They are extemely safe even if accidentally knocked over as they have a cut out button on the base.

I use a small folding Halogen heater on hookup as well, but I assumed he/she was looking for something off hookup.

Reading the post again do you intend to use this with the van as you give the impression you are talking about removing the bottle?
