Started to get a small electrical shock from the van when connected to the mains only get it from the skirt rail anybody got any ideas im thinking it could be my earthing wires need cleaning at the connection

It sounds like an earth problem, I`d check the wiring where it goes from the mains input to the RCB first but as with electrics if your not sure get a qualified electrician to check it for you,

Your whole mains electrical system must be checked, including your mains hook up cable.
I strongly suggest this is carried out by a qualified electrician, who can subsequently supply a certificate of confomance.
With the greatest of respect, the fact that you had to ask the question suggests that you do not have the necessary experiance to perform these tests.
