Spotted this Knaus twin axle at a dealer today and it is very Spartan inside. Selling for over £30K! The TAB next to it was better value and a single axle.

So a MIRO of 1620kg?
Can't be right surely?
My single axle Bailey Phonenix 4 berth has an MTPLM of only 1450kg !

Looking at the literature it seems to have been designed as some sort of goods carrying trailer/caravan hybrid.

If one goes into the 'configurator' the masses and payloads become clearer.

So, if you don't add any optional equipment (unlikely) the standard payload is approximately half a tonne. Even with maximum options you can keep that payload by upgrading to a 2 tonne chassis.

Maybe this thread could be merged with the other recent one on weight and the whole amalgamation of the two can then go circular (yet again!) until they do a rapid impression of an Oozlum bird!?;)

That what i thought because it got a rear opening but it well fitted out inside with a drop down bed .

The one in the picture does appear to have a drop down rear and we never noticed one when looking at the caravan.

It was designed primarily for the transport of motorbikes and only to double up for accommodation purposes.
