Small twin axle

Spotted this Knaus twin axle at a dealer today and it is very Spartan inside. Selling for over £30K! The TAB next to it was better value and a single axle.

We were wondering the same. As said it is very spartan in side and not the type fo caravan to appeal to the average British punter. I think it is this one. Seems it has a MTPLM of 1800kg and payload 180kgs? https://www.knaus.com/en-uk/caravans/deseo/highlights/

Can't be right surely?
My single axle Bailey Phonenix 4 berth has an MTPLM of only 1450kg !

If one goes into the 'configurator' the masses and payloads become clearer.





So, if you don't add any optional equipment (unlikely) the standard payload is approximately half a tonne. Even with maximum options you can keep that payload by upgrading to a 2 tonne chassis.

Maybe this thread could be merged with the other recent one on weight and the whole amalgamation of the two can then go circular (yet again!) until they do a rapid impression of an Oozlum bird!? 🤔😉

I must admit although very spartan, it looked very solid.

That what i thought because it got a rear opening but it well fitted out inside with a drop down bed .

The one in the picture does appear to have a drop down rear and we never noticed one when looking at the caravan.

That is one version, but not the version we saw yesterday.

It was designed primarily for the transport of motorbikes and only to double up for accommodation purposes.

Does not seem much different except for the rear opening door 👍
