Snack dishes

We got to make up snack dishes for family who are visiting. We have cocktail sausages, mini sausage rolls, pickled cucumber, pickled onions and mini pork pies that can be cut up. No rolls. Thinking perhaps of BBQ chicken wings with lettuce and tomatoes.

Any suggestions for any additional easy tasty snack dishes that require minimal preparation as we have not done this for a very long time?

PS We have the wine and beer so no issue washing the food down! LOL!

Waitrose do some nice mini Indian snacks. Pop in oven and serve

Had to look up what they are and unfortunately may be too spicy for some people as not every one likes chillis. Need to try them sometime.

A few for the Indian snack lovers may not go amiss, and depending on the ones you get, they are not terribly spicy.

Tortilla chips and dips are also tasty and easy.

This is the first Christmas family gathering that we will been having in over 30 years so a bit unsure.

All of them except daughter eat curry, but most like me do not like spicy foods. I love curry, samoosas, brinjals etc that is done the proper Indian way and not what is bought from a take away that caters for European tastes.

BTW many years ago we had a party and had bowls for whole carrots scattered around. All the carrots were eaten!
