Snooper Ventura S7000 (Caravan/Motorhome)

Hi Folks,

Did anyone buy a Snooper Ventura S7000. I did a month ago and sent it back to where it came from a week ago, now waiting for it's replacement a Tom Tom Go 750 Live.

I fount the snooper to slow to react it was telling me to turn left or right after I had gone past the turning, I once asked me to turn left then right (in the caravan setting) which would have ended up in a dead end road.

I contacted Performance Products Ltd (Tech dept) who informed me that they had found a bug in the program and that they would send me an update program on DVD which they did 10 days later. After installing the update things just seemed to get worse so now it's gone back. I think they need to do a lot more development on these units before they are put on the market.

Anybody else had problems yet let me know.

Hi Graham,

i bought the s7000 and had the truckmate version as I drive bigger stuff,but i put un an average size for van and car and it does really well.I have found it quick to respond.The screen however is a bit in your fce in a car but ideal for trucks and buses so it is tfor me the balance of all things,
