huh, just like the thing. gettin closer tae our first long weekend away to celebrate my recent milepost and whit happens ?

a wee accident at work which seen me doon at the A+E for most of the day. had trapped left index finger between two planter boxes the students had made and thought no more of it, only a black nail coming along. within the next wee while it had balloned up over twice its size and was painful. manager sent me to get it checked out. ended up there was a splinter of wood had imbedded itself under the skin where it meets the nail, had to have local surgery tae get the blighter oot. result, one sore swollen finger, as i said, sods law.

Some people get no sympathy what's so ever, let me just say that I am very sorry that you seriously injured yourself.

People just don't realise the inpact stress can have after major surgery.

You put your feet up mate, let the good lady look after you until the wound heals.

Consider yourself lucky, you could have easily picked up an infection from that tree sap.

You look after yourself, post a pic of the splinter.
