solar charge

I have just had a 100w solar panel fitted to the roof of the van. I have the van electrics connected to keep the fridge on and on checking the battery its reading 14.5. My query is, is this ok? should it be this high.

If the charging circuit has electronic control, the 14.5v is ok, it's what a car alternator outputs.

But at 50% duty cycle, the fridge will be drawing about 60w day and night - over a 24 hour period, solar panels only give a fraction of their rated output.
