Could some kind person tell me how to test the output of a solar panel ie measure the amps,I have a 30w panel which is supposed to give me about 2amps per hour on a good day,many thanks.

Do you have a digital meter that will measure volts in the region of 0 to 20 Volts, and current in the range 0 to 10 Amps?

If not, you need one, and a trip to an electrical hobby shop - like Maplin - should get you one for
