Solar Panel to Recharge Battery

Hi everyone, I bought a small solar panel a few months ago to keep the battery topped up whilst the caravan is in storage. I have lost the instructions for it and I'm not sure when it's plugged into the 12v socket in the caravan, what setting on the fuse panel to put it on - should I flick the switch to "car", "van" or the middle switch that is neither in order to charge the battery? Caravan is an Abbey Expression 550. Any help much appreciated, thanks Brian

Brian,

If your solar panel plugs into the 12v socket to charge the battery then the switch should be in a position where the socket is "live" in order for the current generated by the panel to reach the battery.
