Something we can unit against!!

Who gives a stuff what we tow with.

As caravanners - I've just thought of a target we can all get our teeth into.

They are bigger than most 4x4's they have poor mpg and have the aerodynamics of a brick!!

So clearly they must be a real danger to all and sundry

What am I talking about ??

Why MOTORHOMES OF COURSE!!

We can unite in condemming these large gas guzzling beasts that could run amok an a camp site squashing everything in their path.

Blockade the camp sites don't let them in. Caravanners unit against the common foe!

I am on holiday for a week now so no more from me for a while (no doubt to the obvious relieve of at least one anti!) but when I come back I am sure the logic of my proposal well have spawned numerous threads and a welcome comming together of all caravanners.

NOT

Here we go again - what a load of rubbish. What have you got against caravanettes. Someone like you should go to west Wales and join the silent order of monks on Caldy Island and let the real world enjoy themselves as they see right. Whoever is on the same site as you all i can say is "God help them"

Hi Colin,

Although Clive seems to have something against me. In his defence, I think the post was of a lighhearted joke.

Do you think I'd let him get away with it if not? My parents are motorhomer's too!

Pete

Absolutely nothing wrong with our friends who use motorhomes, they use no more fuel than us and use no more space on site, yes some are a little crazy like the american coaches that winnebago make but the owners of these have made a choice paid out a substantiall amount of cash on some thing they want and not something somebody else thinks they should have and i for one are happy for them. my outfit cost me 40 grand, i could have had a very nice motorhome for that but like them i made my choice and bought a van. live and let live.

I've got nothing in principle against motorhomes but the variety with sliding doors does annoy me when I'm standing next to one. They always seem to need a great thump to close which can be irritating when you're trying to get to sleep or when you're woken up early in the morning as the occupants go to the washroom.
