Somewhere to Celebrate New Year

We normally stay at home over xmas and new year but this year we are thinking about taking the van away somewhere for a few nights over new year. We want to go somewhere where there will be some evening entertainment (suitable for family with children aged 6-11) and within 100 mile (or so) radius of Brighton (Sussex).
Any recommendations, past experiences, ideas gratefully received.

we are going to clitheroe to three rivers caravan site £20 a night with electric and are having a disco and buffets tickets are £18 adults children £8 and the pool is open and jucuzzi etc ...... thanks , i have looked else where but most are closed or booked up !
