Hello everyone I am new to caravanning but not to towing. I drive a class 1 HGV for a living. Actually its a car transporter. Ok that over with I am a little concerned about the Zafiras lack of towing ability. We have been given a 1991 Jubilee Equerry 2 berth by my parents who no longer use it. I plan on towing with a 2001 Zafira GSI 2.0 Turbo (petrol). I hope this works out ok as it has just cost me £185 for an invisible tow bar and its going to cost another £200 ish for an Alko stabilizer. Any usefull comments would be greatfully recieved.
 
The rather limited towing capability of the Zafira applies only to the 2.0 diesel. The 2.0 Turbo that you've got has a max. permissble towload of 1500kg which is more than adequate for your purpose.
