Sound system in 2017 Elddis Avante

just wondered if anyone could tell me what spec/make CD radio & speakers Elddis are putting in the 2017 Avante, please? Also advice on how to change a rubbish system. Also is it worth putting a DAB radio in there? Oh, lots of questions!

Make sure you get a multilingual radio,the radio in our van talks in English when in the UK and speaks in French when in France (without adjustment !,it does this automatically)
Don't know what sound systems Eldis fit.

It 'talks' in whatever language the station it is broadcasting uses, if a French station French if its Swahili then the same, there's no such thing as a multi lingual radio, surely you can fit/upgrade to any radio and speaker system that has same physical dimensions with no need for enlarging the cut outs, if you choose either radio or speakers that are bigger then you are going to start cutting the holes where they are fitted to get them in, is cutting going to have any bearing on the vans warranty, as for DAB I wonder if the existing antenna would support the digital signal but I would expect any half decent car radio forum which I'd expect to be easy to locate to advise on this,

Thanks Beehpee. I don't plan to change the system if a decent system is already fitted. If the radio isn't DAB, I'd just take one with me.
I guess this is a question for Elddis/the dealer.
I only asked in case anyone here just knew.

The radio/CD player in out 2016 Elldis is a Pioneer. Very happy with its performance. Have a separate DAB radio as well.

Thanks, Mike, that was what I wanted to know. I'd be very happy with a Pioneer sound system, they aren't the top of the range but they certainly aren't the bottom of it 🙂

I have a separate DAB radio & aerial but you know how it is when it comes to "do I need to carry it? How much does it weigh/how much space does it take up?"
