Does anyone know roughly how much it would cost to obtain a spare key (electronic fob-type) for our 56 Plate Vauxhall Zafira please?
We bought the car second hand from Carcraft in September last year and they had lost the spare key. We've been chasing them for months to obtain a spare as we were promised this when we bought it but they have now turned around and said that they won't be providing one. We haven't got a leg to stand on as the promise was made verbally by a staff member who has since left the company (convenient, eh?) and it does state in the terms and conditions that they don't provide spare keys if one isn't to hand at purchase time.
We're a bit fed up as it's taken them 7 months to decide this but don't feel able to take it further. However, it makes me quite nervous that we've only got one key especially as this is our towcar and if we lost our sole key, we would miss out on holidays etc.
We'll approach our local Vauxhall dealers for a price next week but just wondered if anyone knew a ball-park figure for one. Cheers!
