Spare parts.

Just bought a 2nd hand aquaroll and a complete Torbeck water mains connections for £30.00.(Aquaroll still in box unopened. Main connections been used once). Could someone please tell me where I can buy spare parts for the Torbeck main connections as I snapped of a small lug which holds the float in place.

Do sites object to you using water mains connections if not on a serviced pitch.

Thank you for your replys.

If you're not on a serviced pitch, the water points are meant for general use, so the site and fellow caravanners will object if you "permanently" use one just for yourself.

I was talking to a guy last night and I asked him the same question and he said he has an adaptor on his that allow fellow caravaners to still fill up thier water carriers while he is attached to the mains. He said he has travelled this country and europe for years and never had a complaint.

I doubt that you would be able to use this method on a CC or C&CC site(s). Don't know about private sites, but suspect it would be the same. Can't imagine why you would want to take command (with or without and adapator) a tap that is placed there for everyone to use.

Another problem you may encounter is that you wouldn't be able to get close enough to a communal tap without parking illegally.
