Spare wheel

I bought my caravan a few years back and have never had a spare wheel. I've been meaning to get one for ages and have decided that before we venture on holiday this year (we go on 17th July)So I popped to Lowdham Caravans (Nottm) at the weekend only to be told they don't keep them in stock, but can order one. That was fine until they told me that it would be 4-6 weeks for delivery. I hadn't realised how difficult there were to get hold off. I asked if I could borrow a second hand one whilst I wait for the order to come and they said no.

So... Anyone know where I can get a spare wheel for my Abbey Freestyle 470SE.

Looking at the tyres currently on the van...they say : 195/70 R14 91T.

Also, I presume I want a spare wheel with tyre and not just a tyre?

Hi Trisha

You should be able to pick up a steel wheel from another dealer without tyre, then just go along to your local tyre outlet (Kwik Fit, ATS etc.) and they should be able to supply the correct tyre. Even if it`s not in stock they will be able to source one within a couiple of days if not next day.

This will, more than likely be cheaper than Lowdham, because, I bet, they will want to supply the complete wheel complete with tyre.
