Speedometer reads 10% high on Bailey Approach SE 745

Has anyone else with a new Bailey Approach looked at the speeds their speedometer is showing relative to truck speeds or a sat. Nav. speed. My 745 new April 13 reads 10% high through the whole speed range. Some bad calculation or part change in the drive train by the manufacturuer is assumed. Bailey's first reaction was 'talk to your local Peugeot Dealer'. As he has not been involved in the vehicle supply I cannot see him being too happy to sort this. Anyone had similar problem please.

All speedo's read +10% compared with a GPS or that has been my experience, have a feeling that it is all to do with not under reading so leaving you liable to prosecution.
PS Her indoors reckons that 'Speedos' enhance everything by 10% now what she means by that I couldn't say

I'm not surprised thtat Bailey's reaction was 'talk to Peugeot'. They didn't make the base vehicle. It has nothing to do with Bailey and I doubt Peugeot will do anything about it.

The Ducato/Boxer/Relay comes off worse than most because your 15" wheel Bailey chassis is also permitted to run on 225/70-15 tyres rather than the standard 215/70-15s. So the speedometer must not by law over-read in a range from a tall, highly inflated, deeply-treaded 225/70 tyre down to a short, nearly-bald, underinflated 215/70.. This is why the speedometer is one of the worst out there for over-reading with the average tyre setup.

Bear in mind of course that your odometer works on the very same calculation, and that your on board computer's fuel calculations are based thereon. When it says you're getting 28m.p.g. then subtract 10% at least..
