Spring Bank Holiday

Hi - off to Paignton next Friday for a week with the grandchildren and our daughter. She is coming home on Wednesday but the children are staying with us for the week. Can't wait now so hope for fine weather. Anybody else going away for the bank holiday break? Said we would go off high season but the children persuaded us so here we go.
 
Have a nice time colin. We are away on June 1st. First three days we are staying at Englethwaite Hall, Carlisle, then it's up to Carradale Bay, Kintyre peninsula for ten days. Back to Englethwaite Hall for another three days, then home.

We are away for the bank holiday but unfortuately not in the caravan. 2007 is 100 years of scouting, we are off to llandeilo along with 400 scouts, cubs and beavers to camp for the weekend.

That`s a coincidence we will be at Englethwaite Hall from 10th - 22nd June. Would love to meet the Lord Brakewynde in person if you could spare some of your precious time on a commoner like myself.

Always carry a bottle of Malt in case of a special occasion.

Yes, I think we get back there on about the 13th, she who organises my life is out at the moment so I'm not sure on the exact dates ;O)
 
We are off to Dornafield in South Devon for the week. Not too far for us, we are in Cornwall. Looking forward to taking the children to Paignton Zoo and visiting Dartmoor. The weather forcast is looking very good for the end of this week so lets hope it holds. Denise

No problem. I am used to mixing with Royalty after working at the Braemar Gathering for the past 15 years, so should have no problem spotting you.
