just got the caravan out of storage today to give it a good clean, the roof was particularly dirty with green algae along the seams soft brush and plenty of elbow grease, all clean now..
what do people use to suppress the algae growth? any recommendations from other members of this forum would be most helpful

i have stuck the van on a site in Cheshire for a week while I am working down there.....wife is giving it a good going over....brand new van but you would not believe how dirty they are when they leave the factory......
 
Sounds as if you're parked near to or under trees? If so the only thing you can do is move where you park it. That's the only time our roof gets really green.
