Welcome to the forum - it may help to give the year of the Alpine, approximately if necessary - if you have no idea a few photos will usually generate an answer.
Thank you for your replies. I was going to post pics in another section but was unsure which to use. So i'll put them here and in future i guess the "Vintage section" would be best. Not sure if she would be termed vintage but please let me know.
I think she is a 1975-1985 model but i am still unsure. I have seen an early 70's Alpine which was different. Just done some pics but the sun was a bit bright for the LHS shot.
As you can see she has few dings and in good condition. I was given her so i want to do her justice. I prefer these older caravans so i was overjoyed when it was offered in response to my post on Nextdoor.co.uk. I belong to several classic car clubs and so want a period caravan... but also what i can legally tow [she's 797kg]. I'll use her for those classic car weekends.
I am an experienced car restorer but not sure who to contact for parts. I assume that drum brakes and springs/shock absorbers are generic but may be wrong. Inside isn't too bad but i will probably do a customise. No damp inside despite the broken window.
As you can see the front window is cracked and a side window. I think i have seen a supplier for the side window but not sure about the front. Not the end of the world as i'd have thought one can put an aluminium channel in to take glass or plastic.
Welcome to the forum. There are folks on here who have done resto project. Not me though.
In terms of parts, the age of your van may make things interesting but there are places. (See below) that maybe worth checking out as well as any caravan breakers local to you.
