EVENING All. I was polishing my pride and joy yesterday, my Bailey is parked in the driveway by the side of my house where i live in a remote village on the north west coast of Scotland, I was removing tar spots from the front panel when i heard a noise behind me and when i looked round.... there was the Google car with camera system on the roof clicking its way down the street taking shots of the whole village and at the same time telling every caravan thief in the UK where there,s a nice little well looked after bailey sitting in a drive way ready to lift. Does anyone know how to get in touch with Google to have it removed from Google Earth before the hyenas see it ?

You will have to wait until it is showing and then click on the report a problem tab on the page. They have blocked one view of my house so far, best to probably enlist others in the street to get all blanked out. I agree it is an invasion of privacy. Try "googling" remove my house fron street view, there are a number of posts on there.

Good luck,

G

I posted on this topic on 28 March. Some people agreed with me that it was an unwanted invasion of privacy and others thought that I was paranoid. Our street's photos seem to have been taken around late summer 2008. We "reported a problem" as our new Bailey was sitting in the driveway and our registration number was clearly visible and views of our house have been removed. It took only a couple of days.

Don't tell the media, they will turn up with more reporters and cameras and you'll be on the 10 o'clock news.

Can we not adopt the American way of dealing with unwanted intruders? Either shoot them, or tar and feather them and run them out of town on a rail. Seemed to work well in the Western movies??
