Have had a squeak coming from the offside wheel on the last few outings so before we went this time called our service engineer, he checked and greased all the nipples neccasary and when I pulled away no squeak.
But when I arrived on site just over an hour later, it was worst than ever.
Chap next to me (a vehicle mechanic) said it was the wheel bearing as it is ok when cold but as it gets hotter so the noise increase's.
Can anyone shed any light on this and confirm it could be the problem and what should I expect to pay for a new bearing and should I change both sides at the same time?
Thanks in advance for any help.
