St Pabu Finistere Region France

Has anybody tried the 'Camp Municipal de L'Aber' at St Pabu, in the Finistere region of France. We are thinking of going April/May next year. Any comments or alternative camp site in the same region would be welcome. Thanks Brian

Try Camping des Arbers in Aber W'rach. It's great. the owner, Hubert Le Cuff is really super. Right on the beach, small shop, no discos or club and a very pleasant little cafe/pizzeria just outside the gates.

The site at St Pabu is no longer a Municipal but is run by a charming french couple. The facilities are very good and are kept clean and well maintained. We would certainly recommend it.

The les Abers site mentioned in another post is also very good.

Another excellent site in the area is La Greve Blanche at Plougerneau. This is very quiet right up to the end of June - and you will be able to choose a pitch with lovely see views.

This is a very beautiful area and we love re-visiting. There are many beautiful coastal walks and quiet roads for cycling. Give it a try - you won't regret it !!
