I wonder if anyone can help, we have just bought a second hand caravan which comes with a leaf stabaliser, does anyone know how we get the bit which fits to the car as that has not come with it. Or do we have to buy a new one and if so which is better this one or one fitted to the caravan.

thanks in advance

Tracey,

If you are able to identify the make of the stabiliser you should be able to get the bracket which fits to the car. There are three common makes of this type of stabiliser with the Bulldog probably being the most used now, the others are Scott and Snakemaster. The Snakemaster is made of lighter guage metal than the others. Have a look at your nearest accessory outlet, see what type they have in stock and compare it to the one you have to see if it's the same.

If you do a Google search you should also turn up some details of places online that stock spares.
