I seem to get a creaking noise from the towbar, and I been told to clean the Alko 3004 pads, I removed the red caps then pushed the pads in but they don`t want to come right out.

Ive push the arm right up, do I need to push harder or is there somthing I got to do first ?

Last thing I want to do is damage it.

Any ideas

Chris, they will come out..you just have to tap a bit harder. I use a small screwdriver and tap the handle to push the pads in, then feel around and pull them out from the inside...easy!
