Hi, I bought a 1989 caravan last week and with it came a stabiliser. I had the tow bar fitted to the car today but there doesn't seem to be anywhere to put the stabliliser - are there different types of stabiliser or have I got the wrong tow bar? It's a Whitter fixed flange on a BMW 3 series. Many thanks,

Hi Sam, you have obviously got a "blade stabilizer" you will need to buy the plate that fits between the tow ball & the tow bar on your car

If you take the stabilizer to your local camping/caravan dealer they will have the required plate. also buy new locking washers for the tow bar bolts for when you do the job
