can someone tell me about the telescopic antennas on this ariel

do you have to climb on the van to extend them or is there an easier way

I don't know how to extend them but they're only used to receive radio signals, not TV.

According to the book of words that came with my Status aerial you only need to use the telescopic rods when view VHF TV when overseas. It also says IMPORTANT - You DO NOT need to extend the telescopics for FM radio reception.

However if you feel the need to extend them, can you reach through one of the skylights?, otherwise you'll have to get the missus up on your shoulders to do it!

Fully open your skylight, stand on seat and pull one extension out. Turn arial and then do the other.

remember that the arail should be horizontal and never drive away with them out!!!!
