hi can u tell me how to use the onboard tank.... i can fill it ok on auto fill but when barrel outside empty it wont work ... do i leave switch on auto etc. i got the amethyst eccles should be the same as u brian.

Hi Jamie

Under the front chest is the water system pump.

It has three settings

1. For using the external supply (your aquaroll)

2. Filling the on-board tank

3. Using the on-board tank

You change the settings by turning two taps near the pump.

There should be a diagram in the locker (on the locker access door)showing which way they should face dependant on what you want to do.

To use the on-board tank you connect your full aquaroll to the 'van' and use setting 2. You can check how much water is in the tank using the control panel wherever it is. (it's the same one that shows the state of you battery)

Don't forget to open a hot water tap or two the purge the system of air. When the water flows out of the hot tap the heater is full so turn off the tap. The rest of the water will then be pumped into the onboard tank.

When the tank is full turn the taps in the locker to 3. and you will be using the on-board tank.

This all sounds a little complicated but is fairly straightforward.

havent got that brian mine is suppose to come on automatic.. new thing on the sterlings...i will have to take it back to them..

Suggest you look at Swifts own forum, the water filling system has been much discussed on there. It is called SwiftTalk or similar
