I hope somebody can answer this one Ive been on Swifts forum and its like trying to navigate in thick fog.
OK here we go I was sat out in the wonderful sunshine on the East Coast last week and noticed we had water dripping from the front of our van now this dripping was coming from looking at it
from the front of the van the right hand corner . To cut a very long story short we find this leak only happens when we fill up with water ie aquaroll to on board water tank.I cant see anywhere that there is a leak but the locker box does stop me from going too far.
A little help would be appreciated.

Hi Sir Rog My Boy.
It seems your on board tank is overfilling. You must have two pump settings.
Pump run and pump fill. The latter cuts out automatically once the tank fills to the predetermined level.
If you leave it on pump run configured to fill on board from aquaroll an overfill and spillage will ocurr. Hence you see leakage.
The only other option is a punctured tank or leaking joint.

Now then Dusty you may have hit on something here. Sadly there is no pump run or fill but we do have a timed tank fill from aquaroll so next time im at the storage I will just see what difference can be made by changing tank fill time .Thanks my man. See you soon .

From what i remember from when my friend owned a searcher he was always overfilling the inboard tank as it never had an overfill prevention ie stopped the pump, the overflow pipe wasnt big enough to let out what was being pumped in?

Thanks for the replies so far . Let me just add a little more the inboard tankdoes shut off when full. It has a timer on it for I think 6 and 11 mins Im wondering if I should lower the time and see what happens unless of course there is a different answer. The mind boggles.

A few years ago i managed to over fill our on-board tank 😳 to stop that ever re-occurring i fitted a 22mm overflow pipe that puts water just at the side of my feet when I'm filling it, when the water comes out there's enough in the tank ...... 😉 or in your case it would just overflow till it times out 😉

I used the same fittings as used in a loft cold water tank .....
