Sticking cupboard catches

Hi everyone.
Can anyone give me some advice on how to lubricate the cupboard catches on my 2010 Swift challenger.
They have a button which needs to be pressed top open the cupboard, but when opened most of the catches stick in the opened position and therefore the latch will not lock when the cupboard is closed.

Thanks Clive.
Gave the catches a quick spray of awning channel lube today, and there all working fine now. It's so annoying to have little issues like this when you spend thousands of pounds on brand new stuff. Whats happened to quality control.

Agree with above. You could also use furniture polish, the spray type. Spray the button and also the bits behind the door. You can use the same techniques on the thetford loo battery locker catch etc.

hi there, what the problem is, is that it may be the 2 little screws holding the catch on, what you need to do is just slacken them off as well as wd40 should do the trick.
