The General section is for general caravanning issues.

john.b. Still moaning and bitching 19 Jun 2007 02:40 PM I have both caravan and tent and use both regularly,I have also used this forum from almost day one. Every now and again I get fed up when the moaning and bitching starts and stay away for a while as I have done for the past 2-3 months, logged back in this week and nothing has changed. Same moans from the same people.. I regularly access other caravan/tenting sites and I never come across anything like this. Problems with Trolls etc ,I wonder why.. Yes I don't need to use the site and yes we are all entitled to our views but some need to grow up and put the toys back in the pram. Thankfully most do not get involved and use the forum as intended.

Lord Braykewynde 19 Jun 2007 04:20 PM Do you feel better after your moan john ;O)

john.b. 19 Jun 2007 04:44 PM Sorry Lord B not really a moan,based on fact...regards

colin (bridgend) 19 Jun 2007 05:01 PM This reminds me of my late mother - she used to say that she would worry if she did not have anything to worry about.

i find that most forum's are the same, someone is always bleating on about what annoys them most, well what annoys me most is them they should go stand in a corner of a darkened room because i don't know anyone that find's them the least bit interesting.

Personally I can't see the point of letting someone who is having a moan get to you. If it worries you that much your B.P./ stress levels must be going through the roof.

People who have a moan are at least relieving themselves of some of their own stress. Just think as well, by people moaning on here the persons partner may be spared the anguish. Can you either of you elaborate what posts you consider as moaning then maybe the Mods could draw up a symbol to apply to the said moaning posts to spare you having to read them :O)

Just an observation and not a criticism you understand ;O) hehheh!

Found and excellent way of getting rid of stress!

Step one: Take photo of the boss

Step Two: Blow up to A4 size on the photo-copier

Step Three: Place with blue tack on your office wall

Step four: Bang head repeatedley against said pic

Now don't you feel so much better?

Dianne I remember you saying you worked in Bridgend - it's not Glanrhyd Mental Hospiyal by any chance? My boss's head would not fit on an A4 sheet it was so big. We had to have an A2 printer and then we used the print as a dart board.

I buy all my diesel from Brewery Lane - know lady working there from Cefn Glas by the name of Jean (not sure of surname). Her daughter is married to the son of a friend. Also friendly with Elaine from North Cornely (checkout operator in store). She has been off for a few weeks on sick leave. Wicked (funny) sense of humour. I have a Daihatsu Fourtrack - in fact in there yesterday for fuel.

LB,

blood pressure is fine and its not that anything annoys

me about the moaners and groaners.I just believe that they

need to move on and if it is as you say "it would stop them

taking out on there partners",it just proves my point.

I appreciate your concern and suggestion about getting the

mod to put something in place and feel sure someone of your

stature will help...thanks once again for your genuine

concern..he!!he!!...........regards

Dianne who on earth designed the new layout for the store. It is absolutely pathetic. Fair enough tobacco counter and pharmacy in right place but the rest is a shambles. There are now two dead corners to the store - top left home and wear corner and the far top right - very rare see anybody around the frozen food corner. The shop does not flow easy now. I bet it was a man - as a building surveyor I think for interior design and layout a female is far more competant at this work as they have the flare for it. I think a woman would have done a far better job of design layout and the products/shelves would be better laid out. Initially bread and vegetables are placed in the trolly and then the heavier tinned produce, milk, etc. on top thereby squashing the softer more delicate produce. Next management meeting raise this point and see what they say. Incidentally do you attend the team meetings held on Saturday mornings all huddled on the steps at the top left corner of the shop. Surely there could be a room for them rather than in the corner like frightened animals waiting to be slaughtered.

Lord B. I know what I am on about - I was posting a comment on the new layout of an old Tesco store. My posting had no reference to the smoking ban which has been in effect in Wales for some time. Dianne knew exactly what I was talking about and then you butted in to have your two pennies worth and tried to make me look a fool - well I am not standing for it any longer (sitting down typing this) so get off my back all the bleeding time - there that has told him but he will either ignore me or it will be like water off a duck's back.hehehe (On the whole he is not such a bad old stick really)

Dianne I thank you for coming to my defence against this arrogant aristocrat.

Hey Lord B. now you know that you could have been living in Wales with reduced student fees, no prescription fees and the smell of fresh Welsh mountain air. what more could you have wished for? But there you had to be awkward and move Hereford over to the other side - serves you right.
