STOLEN CARAVAN

Friends of ours had their caravan stolen between midnight Thursday and Friday morning. The caravan was parked in garage area of local police station, owner stays in what was police house.

Stolen from Kincardine on Forth, Fife, Scotland

The van is a 2 wheel single axle, Bessacarr Cameo 440 SLE. Cream with a burgundy stripe. Vin No. SG1S44OBES0017619.

Van had a private No. Plate on it but thieves will probably have removed this.

Hi Annette, sorry to here about the theft, we belong G/mouth and will keep eyes/ ears open, but probably well away by now.

Makes you wonder if it'ds worth the worry of owning a caravan these days. There are so many scum bags around. By the way, all number plates are private, no one else has the same one as me (Ihope!!)

It is a disaster when your van goes, its like coming home and finding your house gone! Good luck but make sure you fit Thiefbeaters to your next one, www.thiefbeaters.co.uk Mike

Sorry to hear about your van. We left our caravan on a site at North Berwick for a month last October and arrived on the Fri night to find someone had tried to steal it. The police told us there is lot of this type of activity by Gypsies in the Dunbar area and that they may now be moving around the coast. We where lucky as they broke the hitch and couldnt hook it on to their vehicle. We have since bought a hitch lock, but to be honest if these people want it bad enough they will get it. Best of luck in getting it back.
