hi can one recomend a site for a stop over on way from sheffield to treamble valley. must allow dogs.

Neither are more than about one mile from the M5.
 
I agree with the above two. Minnows would be perfect for you if you have dogs as it has direct access onto the canal towpath so ideal for dog walks!
