Stop over this side of Lyon

Hi Im traveling to the south of france in the summer and wondered if some one could recommend a site to stop over night this side of Lyon

Phil - do you want a site just north of Lyon - or further north still? Les Portes du Beaujolais at Anse is close to the A7, and just north of Lyon. It's a Camping Cheques site, and takes Camping Cheques up until the 5th July, or after 20th August. There's also the municipal site at Macon, or the municipal at Beaune, but get there early.

We often stay at Lac de Panthier, which is also handy for overnight stops, and that's a bit further north at Vandenesse.
