Stop overs in Germany

Hi all, we are going to be travelling to Dresden then up to Berlin and back in September. We are looking for a stop over on route to Dresden about 400 mile from Calais so that we only have a 200 mile trip the following day and the same when we return from Berlin. I have checked several camp site web sites and to no avail, any help would be gratefully accepted.

Many thanks.

Hi DavenGill1,
Try looking on the Acsi camping card site there are sites across Europe, and as you are going in September you have time to order a card and sites book.
Prices are fixed from 12 to 18€ per night for for unit + 2 adults dearer if children or extra adults but still good value.
Hope this helps.

Hi, if it's just a stop over then I used www.osnacamp.de a few years ago, making a similar journey. If your looking for a site near to Berlin as well, I used www.schwielowsee-camping.de and would certainly go back there. It's about a 25 minute drive to Potsdam then I used the train into Berlin.

Knaus camping Eschwege is about 200 miles from Dresden and is well situated.
