Storage Boxes for lockers.

Since getting this van with it's daft payload I have been using plastic Storage Boxes (40x60x25cm) to keep all my stuff in. One for ramp stuff, one for awning stuff and one for water stuff. These are transferred to the car when we travel and back to the van when pitched. I have managed to break them one by one whilst putting them in the car and they are all held together by Gaffa Tape.

Now the question,
Does anyone have a better/stronger box to store stuff in of equivalent size, 25cm height is the really important measurement as it means they fit through the locker doors.

I could wrap a new set in Gaffa Tape as this might prevent me breaking them.

The downside of bigger capacity is the extra weight if they're full of heavy stuff so some of them are only half-filled.

Have you looked at the Really Useful Boxes range. Stocked in lots of places including Argos. We have a couple and they do seem fairly robust. They come in a variety of sizes.

( Viking No.9LC) for storage boxes for all my caravan and motorhome spares in the workshop . The plastic seems more durable than the collapsible ones which seem to go brittle over time. And being transparent you can see whats inside. and they stack

Struggling to find. The size I need from really useful box, not sure I can afford them. If I have to replace my cheap ones every two years it would take six years to pay for one of them 😱

Go full on Cheapskate and get them big colourful shopping bags from Aldi. 😀 Probably last as long as cheap plastic boxes and size is easily “adjustable” 65p

I got three from Dunelm for £18 on my way to collect the van from repair. Hope they last as long as the last set, 3 years, that came from BJ-Value-House

We use the bags from ikea ,they shave ones with zips for the bedding and the blue ones for clothes/food not in the same bags I hasten to say.
