Noticed my van bouncing about this morning. Went out and put handbrake on, Noticed the steadies had moved about a inch forward, lifted them and reset them. Take care.

You must be in the Red warning area, so hope nothing untoward happens to the van or house.

We have friends who were flying from Edinburgh to Bristol today. All departures “cancelled “ . But all flights for one airline are taking off🙀 How to be sure is that?

Just been back out adjusting the van, it moved again, I'm 7 miles from Kelso, Scottish Borders. It is exposed where I live.

Maybe we should use Bb for Beachball and bb for borderbilly
All very confusing, especially for us old ones.

A friend in St Andrews has had a tree come down, just missed his caravan, and his Bird spotting tree house, ( whisky drinking hidey hole) also blew over, it's been up for over 25 years.
We had a neighbours plant pot blown over.

This is how much movement on van during storm. As you can see it's wide open up here.

Not at home on Skye at the moment but reports from friends say it wasn't anything unsual. One friends weather station reported winds up to 46mph but for south and west of the Island at Elgol 100mph was recorded.

Our home and garden was checked and all was well. However, just down the road behind the Community Hall is a Community Garden which is a work in progress. The polytunnel cover got ripped off and is probably in Orkney by now.
