Strange Plastic Thingy!!!!

Hello, Can anyone tell me what this strange plastic thingy is. It was found loose in my toilet cartridge after I cleaned it out. I don't know where it belongs or how to fit it back into position. Thanks in advance.
Michael.

It`s the float that attaches to the flat slidey out lidpart of your cassette. I only know this because OH stripped our cassette down and cleaned it all when we bought our new to us van a few weeks ago, it was a rotten job to do and he was gagging a lot. It lets you know when your cassette is getting full.

If it's a Thetford toilet go to their website and you should find instructions how to reinstall. It's a fiddle and you need small hands.
Later models with orange rather than yellow fittings are much easier but again look at the website

You Tube does it again. The whole round section at the top unscrews and it's easy peasy to replace the float. Thanks everyone for your input , I will refer to Thingy from now on as Soft and Cuddly Thingy.
